    Carlos Gomez's antics result in emptied benches ... again

  • Brewers outfielder Carlos Gomez is no stranger to altercations with opposing players.He got into a tiff with the several Braves players last season over his home run celebration, and ignited a bench-clearing brawl with the夜网论坛 Pirates earlier this year thanks to his theatrics. He was at it again on Wednesday against the Nationals after he was plunked by reliever Taylor Hill on the very first pitch of the at-bat.After taking his base,  teammate Lyle Overbay proceeded to hit into a inning-ending double play, but not before Gomez took out second baseman Kevin Frandsen attempting to disrupt the throw to first. Shortstop Ian Desmond confronted Gomez about his actions, and as is customary in the game of baseball, the benches cleared.
